Here at Alba Wheels Up, we would like to extend our thanks to our employees for all that they’ve done for us during an incredibly challenging supply chain environment. Your hard work and dedication mean more to us than you could ever imagine. Without your skills and attention to detail we couldn’t be where we are today as a leader in the logistics industry. During this Thanksgiving Holiday, we’d asked a few employees what they were thankful for. Here is what they shared.
Nikki Phillips, Freight Department, Corporate Headquarters says “The greatest thing I am thankful for is Life. God is life and a blessing who cannot be taken for granted. Every day I open my eyes, I’m thankful for waking up to see and experience another day. Through all the trials and tribulation I have still been able to provide for my family. Spending time with my loved ones and watching them grow into who God is shaping them to be is one of my greatest joys.”
Rachel Sinensky, the Director of HR and located in the NY office, says “This year I’m thankful for a greater sense of normalcy compared to 2020, where we can hug family, celebrate special occasions, visit friends, and re-engage with our coworkers again, all the things we took for granted prior to March 2020. I attribute this greatly to the advances in science and medical research which has made COVID vaccines possible, which is another thing I’m very thankful for. Above all else, I’m extremely thankful for my family (Avi, Annie and Emily).”
Debra Taylor, CHB, from our CX Team says, “First, I am thankful for my husband, and my son and his wife, and our beautiful 5, about to be 6 grandchildren! I am thankful that we are finally able to travel and visit our loved ones. I also am thankful that even with all the problems with the supply chain; that I love what I do. More importantly, I am blessed to work each day with the Alba team. It is more like seeing friends than going to work each day.”
Kim Young, Customs Brokerage Specialist in Los Angeles, says, “I’m thankful for my family & my health. I’m also thankful for having a chance to work with great people at Alba Wheels Up.”
