President signs Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act – will significantly impact imports from Xinjiang.On December 23rd, President Biden signed into law the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act. With his signature, 180 days later importers are prohibited from bringing in goods which originated from the Chinese province of Xinjiang. This means companies have until June 21, 2022 to eliminate originating goods from their supply chains.
