As Alba Wheels Up continues to experience strong growth and expand deeper in different areas of expertise, especially during this critical time in the logistics environment, these new leaders will play an integral role in executing strategic goals and continuing our clients’ success.
Following this line of growth and development, over the past month Alba Wheels Up made a number of announcements surrounding our senior leadership team. First, congratulations to Damien Stile, named Alba Wheels Up CEO. Since joining Alba Wheels Up in 1996, Mr. Stile has led its operations team and finance function. He also managed the acquisition and integration of several industry peers over the course of his 25-year tenure. As CEO, Mr. Stile will set corporate strategy and manage overall operations at the industry-leading freight forwarder, customs broker, and e-commerce logistics provider.
Congratulations and welcome aboard Yoav Millett as our Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Alba Wheels Up, Yoav served as the Investment Banking Managing Director of Halliday Financial, the CFO at Kaltura (KLTR) and DoubleVerify (DV), COO and CFO at On-Net Surveillance Systems, and a Senior Managing Director of a private equity firm focused on IP royalty finance.
We’re also excited to announce two new Executive Vice Presidents: The first one Brenda Custer-Espeleta has come on board as our Executive Vice President, Customs and Trade Compliance. Ms. Espeleta is a licensed Customs Broker and NCBFAA Certified Customs Specialist with over 30 years of experience in global trade. Previously, Ms. Espeleta was the VP of Customs Compliance at Flexport — a global full-service logistics company with a heavy emphasis on new technology. Prior to her role at Flexport, she was the VP of Brokerage Operations at CEVA Logistics, responsible for a team of 300 in customs brokerage.
Followed by our new-announced EVP of operations, Michael Pearson as EVP, Operations. Mr. Pearson has been in the logistics industry his entire career leading teams across the entire transportation and logistics sector from air, ocean, trucking, and time critical services. He has extensive experience driving efficiencies and growth while always staying client focused.
They all offer unique skills and experiences to ensure the innovation of our products and services to assist our customers in a dynamic global economy. Alba Wheels Up will continue to provide high-quality compliance services that meet our customer’s needs in an ever-changing environment.
