On May 19th, Alba Wheels Up’s Executive VP, Growth and Strategy Vince Iacopella will be moderating a panel discussion on Supply Chain Challenges. Joining Vince will be attorney Peter Friedmann, Washington, DC, insider and Chief Counsel for the Pacific Coast Council, AgTC and CONECT, Dr. Noel Hacegaba, Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Port of Long Beach and David Libatique, Deputy Executive Director, Stakeholder Engagement of the Port of Los Angeles.

Orange County World Trade Week is put on by the District Export Council of Southern California and spans three days of virtual sessions May 18th, 19th and 20th. The event will feature two keynote speakers in Ambassador Craig Allen, President of the U.S. China Business Council and Joe Brusuelas, Chief Economist of RSM US, LLP.

The registration for the entire event’s agenda of three consecutive days of panel sessions, networking rooms, sponsor rooms and the chance to have a live Q&A with the speakers and experts is just $50.

For those looking whether to attend one, two or all three days, the topics for each of the days are:

  • Tuesday, May 18th: Exporting, Industry Sectors and Country Opportunities.
  • Wednesday, May 19th: China, Ports & Supply Chain, Mexico, Canada and US Trade.
  • Thursday, May 20th: Global Economy, Ask the Experts, Women in Trade.

“I am excited to moderate this panel with Peter, Noel, and David on such an important issue for Southern California shippers, importers and exporters,” Vince says. “Peter has a unique perspective in Washington as “Our man in DC” on the policies and issues involving stakeholders in 2020-2021 port issues. This is the top issue now for California companies getting their goods to market, whether they are importers or exporters.”

Peter Friedmann is also looking forward to the discussion.

“I am looking forward to participating  in this panel for Orange County World Trade Week, and the Irvine Chamber. Vince Iacopella is a master moderator, so it will be an engaging panel. It is vital to discuss Southern California seaports, which impact everyone shipping in global trade, not only in Southern California, but nationwide, and on both sides of the Pacific.”

Don’t miss this chance to hear Alba’s Vince Iacopella and bring questions for this distinguished panel of senior leaders from both ports and the attorney representing the interests of many of the ports’ everyday customers.
