Getting approved by the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is a major milestone for alcohol importers — but once you’re approved, you’re also responsible for ongoing compliance requirements.
What happens after the approval?
TTB-regulated businesses may be required to:
- Maintain accurate records
- File required reports based on business activity
- Pay federal excise taxes when applicable
