The Office of The United States Trade Representative (USTR) has issued a Federal Register Notice (FRN) of reinstatement of certain exclusions in the Section 301 investigation of China’s acts, policies and practices related to technology transfer, intellectual property and innovation by excluding certain products from additional duties. The determination reinstates 352 of the 549 eligible exclusions. The reinstated product exclusions will apply as of October 12, 2021, and extend to December 31, 2022.
