US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has communicated updates impacting aluminum and steel derivative imports under Section 232 tariffs:
- Effective today, August 18, additional aluminum derivative products are now included in Annex I of the HTSUS, and subject to Section 232 duties
- Annex II introduces technical corrections to the HTSUS
Please review the updated reporting requirements — including the very important country of melt and pour, steel content value determination, and contact us should you have questions.
