USTR Releases Findings in Section 301 Investigation of Vietnam’s Acts, Policies, and Practices Related to Currency Valuation
USTR has issued its findings from the Section 301 investigation into Vietnam’s currency practices. The Administration has opted to not impose tariffs on imports from Vietnam, instead leaving it to the incoming Biden Administration to decide what to do with the results of the investigation.
Here is the USTR’s press release. Here is the key passage: “USTR is not taking any specific actions in connection with the findings at this time but will continue to evaluate all available options.” This message is courtesy of Ray Bucheger, FBB Federal Relations Affiliated with Lindsay Hart, LLP
